this new set is being tested in stiffer dual sport/ rally race tires to see if they can last longer with stiffer carcass :)

So many hidden gems in Arizona that I've never seen, so built a two day off-road route to go see everything in my backyard

The Notorious Gangster, Al Capone was rumored to frequently visit these hard to get to Hot Springs.
70 miles north of Scottsdale, every mile is littered with loose and imbedded rocks.
The Verde Hotsprings.
Once an eccentric hotel from 1920s, Burned down by 1962 fire.
Just the Hotspring foundation remains.
Mother Nature Prevails.
A nudists paradise.
104 degrees soaking bath
99 degrees pool that has no bottom.
The Hotspring platform sits above the Rio Verde River, with steaming hot waterfalls into an emerald green water, perfect place for a cold plunge.

Today I go to seek The Fossil Creek Spring, that pumps 30,000 gallons a minute out of the earth

There's a right way, and a wrong way to do things. After three failed quick steel repairs, I finally did it the right way 🤣

I think the scariest choice is the right step. Atleast for me, it usually means the biggest growth in that step. One I want the most but the hardest.
.
I've never traveled to the other side of the world before, let alone taking a dozen people with me there, but when we did in 2024 to Himalayas, it opened my world of possibilities.
New doors. New dreams. New people.
.
The second scariest choice, is not taking a step. It's easier, but far more crippling.
.
Now going back to Himalayas is easy for 2025, and the new steps into Vietnam, and Jamaica, are just a little less intimidating.
I'm proud of this growth

Day 2 was Sky Island Climbing. Every rocky peak, we found our way to the top.
And then laid down a few dozen miles of epic flowy and techcnial singletrack
Steaks, fish, yoga and massages in the afternoon.

The funniest part, I gotta ride it back home

Our Ancient Saguaros. They take 10 yrs to grow 1" and by 100 yrs old they start sprouting their first arms.
They survive many wildfires and give home and protections to hearty little ones.

My mom and father in law made It to our ride along dinner grill out. They live in idaho.
I only get to see them once every 3-5 years it seems since I moved out of mom's house at 14.
Was a treat for them to see what I do and the people I'm surrounded by

13 riders showed up for RTR Ride Along ADV.
Kevin Carried 18 beers for us, Susan learned to cook artichokes for us, Travis kept us all together, Robert popped the most wheelies, Sam did a full back flip on a wheelie gone wrong, Peter+Daenan held hands from atop 4peaks, Christy sang along with live music taking it easy, and Marc rode his first Kove ADV Bike.
Oh and Beau got the most kisses 😂

Great 176 miles day. Got back 8 min before pitch black.
I wanna do more of these, I think we all do

From 90mph asphalt for 100 miles,to 30 miles of 1st gear hard techcnail singletrack, to tacos and margaritas at sunset, and then 3 jackets on the cold desert highway back home to bed all in one day.

It's not that Kove Rally 450 is a dirtbike,
it's that it can go where dirtbikes go, pass em, and then ride on the hwy back home, all without ever having to stop for gas :)

Got 2 Kove's both at 4000-4250 miles each, and both holding up strong to alll the abuse I'm putting them through :)
Listen to that clutch abuse, revving and dropping the hammer!!

She says, "I'm going on a Himalays Adventure, and I don't know how to ride yet"
Christy jumped headfirst into the world of Offroad Adventures and booked a trip with a (local) Nepal tour company,
and has only two months to figure this riding stuff out before she catches a plane.
She's been trying to ride her Honda crf250L at home, but snow has not let up.
So she's out here in Az with me getting as much seat time as possible and also shopping for new riding gear here because there are no stores in her small town.

Her stories are incredible.
The other year she wanted to scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef while traveling through Australia, so she booked a scuba trip without ever even snorkeling before, and then found an expedited scuba training school to put herself through in time.
She was born in Africa ,
and grew up traveling the world with her parents, never learning of the boundaries society self-imposes on one another.
She has friends all over that she does not share the same language with, and even sponsors a couple young girls she's met along the way to go to school in Pakistan.
She's an incredible example of follow your heart in life and everything else will work out.

Ive only known Christy for a days ride so far, but I look forward to riding with her again on Sunday while she puts 176 more miles under her belt on this RTR ADV Ridealong

Why is there only 10% singletrack on our Vietnam Trip when there's SOOOO much singletrack in this country?
I find there's two main types of adventures,
a traveling adventure,
and a riding adventure.
An all singletrack ride is fun, but you really miss out on really SEEING the country, as singletrack you can only physically travel MAYBE only 15% of the country landscape.
And to be honest, you can have a fun thrilling singletrack ride anywhere in the world.
So to go to Vietnam, I want to see EVERYTHING, taste everything, meet everyone,
but being a dirtbike singletrack junky,
I want to have fun while doing it.
So this Vietnam trip is designed partially as a fun hard singletrack 10-15% of the time, and then we put the miles down on epic gorgeous 2 track dirt scenery to fly through the changing land scape in a single day.
Some sections we are on single, cuz it's absolutely epic and we can't miss this fun challenge. And on other sections we are crossing Jeep 4x4 muddy creeks, cuz a mud bog is so fun, and then other sections we are on twisty asphalt because it's the most gorgeous route in the area carving the corners between two misty cliff walls with your knee dragging!
Over 12 days, we are going to see the ENTIRE COUNTRY from north to south. Riding point to point staying in new villages each night!
Chase vehicle to lighten our luggage load, and a local tour guide and translator that knows all the ins and outs and secrets to his home country.

This trip is designed to be an adventure, to step into the unknown, intermingle with the locals and learn their ways, all while riding a dual sport dirtbike as fast as we can through the sweeping landscape, and other times as slow as we can to not miss a beat.

Flying into Vietnams Capitol, Hanoi, this dirtbike bucketlist adventure takes us through the ENTIRE country from north to south in 12 days, and then catching a snooze on the night train back up to Hanoi.
Immersing ourselves in the culture, waterfalls, boats, day off activities, rest days, eating the same foods they grow, we stay in everything from big fancy resorts to small family ranches.
